Canons Park tube station is a London Underground station at Canons Park. It is on the Jubilee Line, between Stanmore and Queensbury. It is in Travelcard Zone 5.
The station was opened on December 10, 1932, as Canons Park (Edgware) and at some point dropped the suffix. It was then on the Stanmore branch of the Metropolitan Line. In 1939 it was transferred to the Bakerloo Line, then in 1979 it was transferred again to the Jubilee Line.
On very few occasions, Jubilee Line trains can terminate at Canons Park. This happens especially in the early evening when London Underground want to make sure the rails out of the sidings at Stanmore don't become rusted up so terminate the train at Canons Park and run the train into Stanmore sidings then out again.
Canons Park has a car park (run by Vinci) which holds about 201 cars. The daily rate is £2.50.
