The Canon PowerShot S2 IS was a 5.0 megapixel digital camera that debuted in 2005. It is the second of Canon's cameras in the superzoom category, with an integrated 12x zoom lens and image stabilization technology (IS). Its successor is the Canon PowerShot S3 IS with both 12x zoom lens and IS, but with 6.0 megapixels and stereo video sound.
