Candida can have various meanings:
- Candida is a comedic play by George Bernard Shaw published in 1898 that satirizes socialist reformers in the Church of England.
- In Latin, candidus, candida means clear and white, with the whiteness of pure quartz rather than the whiteness of chalk (albus).
- Candida is a genus of yeasts which can cause numerous infections in humans and other animals.
- Candida is a commune in the province of Avellino in southern Italy.
