Canal D is a Canadian French language cable television specialty channel with programming devoted to documentary and drama programming. It is owned by Astral Media.

Canal D is the French Canadian counterpart of A&E. The "D" stands for either 'découverte' or 'documentaire'. It features biographies, documentaries, mysteries and movies.

Canal D went on the air for the first time on January 1, 1995.
