Canadians for Language Fairness
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canadians for Language Fairness is an Anglocentric organization in Canada that campaigns against the official bilingualism policy of various jurisdictions within the country. The organization also takes a very Anglocentric point of view on Canadian history.
The organization's objectives are:
- Opposition to bilingualism in Canada
- Opposition to French language rights
The organization has taken the City of Ottawa to court over the city's bilingualism policy in its services. By August 2006 this lawsuit has cost the tax payers of Ottawa about CAD$240,000.
