From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Union progressive canadienne-française/Canadian Traditional Conservative Party is an internet-based political party in Quebec, Canada. The website appeared in 2001. It is not known if the party has undertaken any efforts to organize beyond the website. In June 2004, during the Canadian federal election campaign, the party announced that it was supporting the Christian Heritage Party of Canada.
The party's aim is to promote conservative French-Canadian Catholic values. The party opposes Quebec separatism, and supports Canada continuing as a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.
