CANOE (acronym for Canadian Online Explorer, commonly called Canoe.ca) is an online news and information site from Canada. It has been in operation since 4 March 1996 and receives around 12 million page views each week. It is a part of Quebecor Media.
The site contains three levels of content:
- Web-exclusive articles and sections, including SLAM! Sports, JAM! Showbiz, CANOE Travel, AUTONET.CA and Canadian Parents.com.
- Special online editions of various Canadian newspapers including Sun Media papers and the London Free Press.
- Application and features such as crosswords, the Canadian club and concert listings (C*LIVE) movie listings and weather.
