The former Lackawanna Railroad station at Cresco, Pa. A short branch to Mountainhome originated off of the mainline here. A short drive from Canadensis.

Canadensis is located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania in the northeastern part of the state. Its population is 1,500 (est.). It is home to the Continental Hot Grill, Lenny's Gulf, Camp Canadensis, High Acres Park and one traffic light. The reason the town was named 'Canadensis' is to this day unknown.

The town is home to a number of Bed & Breakfast's as well as skiing a short drive away at Alpine Mountain as well as in the Stroudsburg area.

Canadensis only has two somewhat major roads, Pennsylvania Route 447 and Pennsylvania Route 390
