Canada Health Infoway

Canada Health Infoway is a strategic investor working with Canadian jurisdictions to accelerate the development of electronic health records. According to their website, it is an independent, not-for-profit organization whose Members are Canada's 14 federal, provincial and territorial Deputy Ministers of Health.
The areas of focus are:
- Registries
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Drug Information Systems
- Laboratory Information Systems
- Telehealth
- Public Health Surveillance
- Interoperable EHR Systems
- Innovation and Adoption
- Infostructure
They are also involved in developing pan-Canadian electronic health information standards, leveraging the HL7v3 standard.
