Canada Firearms Centre

Canada Firearms Centre is a Canadian government agency of Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The agency was created in 2003 to oversee the administration of the Firearms Act and the Canadian Firearms Program under the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Canada.
On May 17, 2006, the Canadian Firearms Program has been transferred under the responsibility of the RCMP. The head of the agency is the Commissioner of RCMP, currently interim Commissioner Beverley Busson.
