Canada Dock

The Canada Dock is a dock on the River Mersey and part of the Port of Liverpool. It is situated in the northern end of the dock system, connected to Brocklebank Dock to the north and Huskisson Dock to the south. It opened in 1859. It is connected to the Mersey by locks to Canada Basin.

Canada Dock was a Timber dock and was named after the main source of the timber Canada. Fire was the greatest concern on the dock.
