Can of Worms is a Disney Channel Original Movie. It was released in 1999, and is loosely based on the book of the same name.

In it, Mike Pillsbury is a precocious kid whose science project gets sabotaged. Feeling bad, Mike sends a message into outer space asking to be rescued from Earth, not knowing that actual aliens will hear him and come down to Earth, causing all kinds of new problems. The film was originally seen on The Disney Channel.
Although not being shown for a while, the film was shown as part of Disney Channel's 2006 "Hauntober Fest" in October.
