[edit] List of Sci-Fi Noir
Just to be clear, I don't personally have a strong opinion on whether those three movies qualify as "noir" or not. (Off hand, while I really dislike Johnny Mnemonic, it's the one that seems to possess the broadest range of noir chracteristics.) The point is that there's sufficient professional discussion of them (or at least two of them) as "noir" to warrant their inclusion on the list. Here's a readily accessible article: "Future Noir" It covers both Johnny Mnemonic and Terminator and its notes should lead you to a number of other relevant sources.
