[edit] Misattributed terrorist attacks
The following attacks, although usually carried out by Islamist fundamentalists who may have been inspired by al-Qaeda, have not actually been attributed to al-Qaeda or one of its branches and their removal from the infobox should be considered:
- 2003 Casablanca bombings
- 2004 Madrid train bombings
- 2004 Sinai bombings
- 7 July 2005 London bombings
- 2005 Sharm el-Sheikh attacks
- 2006 Dahab bombings
If the infobox template survives TfD and no one objects to the removal of these 6 attacks within a few days, I will remove them from the infobox (if, of course they are not removed by then). Cheers, Black Falcon 19:18, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
- I am removing the 6 noted attacks from the template. Feel free to revert me if you like, but please also provide a rationale here. -- Black Falcon 02:20, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Military targets
The USS Cole bombing was not terrorism, as it was an attack against a military target. It should either be removed from this list or the Al-Qaeda terror campaign link should be changed. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 01:35, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have changed the title to the more neutral and descriptive "Attacks by al-Qaeda". -- Black Falcon 01:08, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- A good change. thanks Merbabu 10:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
