Is the station staffed. I though that it had been made an "automatic" station some years back.

That was my feeling too. I may be able to get some images of the island as my dad was one of the met staff that lived their for a year. Should also mention about the guy who got his leg bitten off by the shark. Evil Monkey → ^{Talk 19:32, Dec 15, 2004 (UTC)}
