Campino is the name given to the bull herders in the Portuguese region of Ribatejo.
The campino works on horse-back making use of a long pole (pampilho) to manage and direct the herd. They are also known for their attire, which consists of a green and red hat, white shirt, red vest, short dark trousers and white socks. This is also the base for the attire of the forcado.
