Campaign for Mainstream Universities

The Campaign for Mainstream Universities is the working group of British universities incorporated since 1992 and university colleges. Many have long histories as colleges and subsequently polytechnics. Formed in 1997 as the Coalition of Modern Universities, it changed its name in 2004.
The group is chaired by Michael Driscoll.
