From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cameroon National Union (CNU) (French Union Nationale Camerounaise (UNC)) was the only political party in Cameroon from 1 September 1966 to 1985 while Cameroon was a single-party state. The party was replaced by Paul Biya's Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) after the Bamenda Congress of 24 March 1985.
