Cameron Sinclair

Cameron Sinclair is the co-founder and executive director of Architecture for Humanity, whose motto is "Design like you give a damn." He co-edited the book Design Like You Give A Damn: Architectural Solutions to Humanitarian Crises and is a contributing writer for Worldchanging.com

In 2004 Fortune Magazine named Cameron Sinclair was named as one of the Aspen Seven, seven people changing the world for the better. He is the recipient of the 2006 TED prize awarded by the Technology Entertainment Design conference and the 2005 RISD Emerging Designer of the Year and the Lewis Mumford Award for Peace. Along with co-founder Kate Stohr, was awarded the Wired Magazine 2006 Rave Award for Architecture for their work in responding to housing needs following Hurricane Katrina. That year he was also nominated for the UK Designer of the Year.

In March 2007 he launched the Open Architecture Network, an online collaborative design network to develop open source solutions to humanitarian crises, at the 2007 Technology Entertainment Design conference.
