Cameron Cobbold, 1st Baron Cobbold

Cameron Fromanteel Cobbold, 1st Baron Cobbold KG, GCVO, PC, DL (14 September 19041987) was a Governor of the Bank of England and Lord Chamberlain to Queen Elizabeth II from 1963 until 1971.

In April 1930 he married Hermione Millicent Bulwer-Lytton, heir to the Lytton family. Their seat was at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire.

Lord Cobbold was Governor of the Bank of England from 1949 till 1961. He was made a Privy Councillor in 1959 and a Knight of the Garter in 1970.
