(U.S. National Register of Historic Places)
Location: Normal, Illinois

The Camelback Bridge is a recently restored historic wooden bridge that arches over the Constitution Trail in Normal, Illinois. It is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

[edit] History

The bridge was built with its distinctive camelback shape to allow steam locomotives to pass underneath the bridge. After Constitution Trail was built, this feature was no longer needed, and during the restoration the bridge was rebuilt with a lower height to allow easier access to vehicles.

The bridge, part of Virginia Avenue, connects the streets of Linden and Fell.
