CamelBak is a well known company for hydration packs. Products from many other companies, such as Kelty, Novara, and Platypus are often mistakenly referred to as CamelBaks, as a genericized trademark.

CamelBaks classically come in 50 - 100 oz. back pack style primarily for biking, but also have smaller belt-type 28 - 45 oz. packs for use running and walking.

The CamelBak Company also makes bottles, general purpose backpacks, and some specialized military and law-enforcement gear, ranging from simple back-worn water bladders with little to no cargo capacity, to large rucksacks with numerous accessories, even PALS webbing to accommodate MOLLE gear.

The headquarters for Camelbak is located in Petaluma, California.
