Camden County High School is in Kingsland, Georgia on Laurel Island Parkway, just off of I-95 Exit 6 in Camden County, Georgia. It serves the entire Camden County.
Dr. John Tucker, Principal The current prinipal is Dr. John Tucker, appointed after Mr. Gary Blount was appointed to an Assistant Superintendent of the Camden County School Board after the 2005-2006 school year.

Enrollment: Senior Class: 561, Total: 2865 The number of students at the school fluctuates every year due to its being located near the Kings Bay Base, and the fact Camden County is a fast-growing southern Georgia county. The number of students as of the start October 2006 was 2865.

90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C Grades below 70 are not passing. One unit may be earned for each of 8 scheduled classes per year (4 each semester).
Weighted Classes: For 04-05 to current: Honors/Gifted and PSO classes receive 3 extra points and AP classes receive 5 extra points. For 03-04: No weights given. For 02-03: 5 pts given for PSO, Honors/Gifted, and AP classes.

Georgia High School Graduation Tests
In order to graduate, a student must pass to Georgia High School Graduation Tests. The testing starts fall of their junior year, and six opporotunites are given to pass. If a student fails just one section of a test, he or she needs only to re-take that portion again, not the entire test.

Camden County High is currently is part of the Georgia 5A class of athletics. It hosts over 45 official extracurricular activities and athletic programs, including clubs such as the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, French National Honor Society, the Senior Beta Club, foreign language clubs and more.
Camden is most known for their huge support in their Football team, which holds the state record for the longest regular-season winning streak. Also, the team pulled region champs in 1975, 1979, 1987, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Spending for the football team includes an entire wing added onto the building just for the football team, completely equipped with $25,000 screens for viewing plays. The new weight room encompased by the wing is bigger than that of most Division 1 college football programs. Camden County was the 2003 state champion. Despite dissapointing finishes in the past several seasons, Camden County has become a staple on the SEC and ACC college recruiting circuits.
Camden County also has had its volleyball and wrestling teams finish in the top ten of state competition during the 2006/2007 seasons and its cheerleading squad finished third in the state coed competition. Camden County is also building a strong basketball program. Both the boys and girls teams finished second in the region tournament and the girls team made it to the third round of state competition.
