Cambridgeshire and Isle of Ely was an administrative county in England, created in 1965 by merging the administrative counties of Cambridgeshire and the Isle of Ely - except that the Thorney Rural District became part of Huntingdon and Peterborough instead.

In 1974 it was merged with Huntingdon and Peterborough to form an enlarged Cambridgeshire.
