Cambridge University Chamber Orchestra

CUCO is Cambridge University's premier student orchestra, and undoubtedly one of the finest university groups in the country. It aims to attract the best musical talent of Cambridge University, and many of its members are University Instrumental Award Holders. Many members go on to become professional musicians, and CUCO provides an excellent training ground for this.

It provides the best players at the University the opportunity to explore varied programmes, from popular symphonies to lesser known, but challenging exciting works. Combining advanced technical ability with great enthusiasm, the orchestra reaches the highest musical standards, attracting a wide variety of renowned conductors and soloists, including Dougie Boyd, Wayne Marshall, Jane Glover, Jonathon Del Mar, Nicholas Cleobury and Ernst Kovacic. The orchestra also performs annually with King’s College Choir.
