The Cambrian Centre is a small shopping centre in the city of Newport, South Wales. Among other units it houses a Somerfield and one of the city's Wetherspoon's public houses, the John Wallace Linton.

A planning application has been submitted to the city council for redevelopment and refurbishment. The new development will be known as City Spires. The development would see parts of the centre being completely rebuilt. The new building would include a 30-storey residential tower, hotel, offices and more car parking. The developer is also attempting to get permission to erect a fitness gym, more shops and additional offices.

The development would ease the knock-on effect from the development of the nearby Kingsway Shopping Centre. Already a much bigger centre, the Kingsway's development had threatened the future of the relatively tiny Cambrian Centre.
