Camargo, Mississippi

Camargo, Mississippi, was a place in northwest Monroe County in the U.S. state of Mississippi.

Camargo was located at 34°04′15″N, 88°38′55″W ^GR3 on the banks of Town Creek.

Carmargo was named by veterans of the Mexican-American War for Camargo, Tamaulipas, a mustering point.^{[citation needed]}
