Hi, I'm Jen. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, went to California for undergrad, and now am on the East Coast for law school. The weather and the people here are not nearly as nasty as I anticipated. :)
I probably should spend less time editing Wikipedia and more time studying.

[edit] What I do on wikipedia
- stylistic edits
- sometimes I wonder what all my education has gotten me because I don't feel like an expert in much of anything, but I do enjoy improving the quality of the writing here
- patrol the new articles page
- clean up articles or nominate trash for deletion. (it is always so fun to see huge new articles created from scratch!)
- write new articles
- only occasionally, mostly fashion articles because the coverage there is very poor
- look for copyright violations
- googling un-wikified content and flagging questionable fair use claims for photos
- add references
- footnotes look so nice once they're put in!

- Fashion - especially because wikipedia coverage is severely lacking here, as I have recently seen. hoping my new hobby can turn into something at least slightly productive.
- Law - what I'm studying
- Biology - my undergrad major (and holds a special place in my heart). Interested disproportionately in eco/evo topics, but I love it all.
- Other science - just because.
- Anchorage and Alaska generally - because I miss home.
