[edit] Albert Gallatin

Albert Gallatin died in 1849, which makes the claim that he had a house built for him in 1877 in Sacramento highly dubious. Also, Albert Gallatin lived in New York City and rural Pennsylvania as far as I know. Is there any source on this? 64.122.95.110 15:40, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

Good catch. I've de-wikilinked the name. It's a different Albert Gallatin, a Sacramento hardware merchant who as yet has no WP article. Whyaduck 16:35, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Not a National Historic Landmark

I removed the mansion article from the WP category "National Historic Landmarks of the United States" in which it does not belong. The mansion is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, but is not included in the much smaller Historic Landmark category. Whyaduck 16:16, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Coordinates

There is a difference between decimal minutes which are used for Geolinks and the other coordinates used in regular Lat/Long posts. The NHRI coordinates divided by 60 approximate the decimal minutes used in the Geolinks entry.

Additionally, if you used the Mapia satellite view and zoom in to the lowest level, you will see the crosshairs over the top of mansion. Ronbo76 16:11, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
