Calvary Church (Charlotte)

Calvary Church is a non-denominational evangelical church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Its senior pastor since 2005 is Dr. John H. Munro, following the resignation in 2004 of the prior pastor for plagarizing sermons. The church was founded in 1939, and one of the founding elders was Billy Graham's father Frank, whose participation was in part a response to Billy's conversion.
The current (fifth) building is a Charlotte icon with its pink exterior and crown shape. The main sanctuary seats more than 5,000. The 11,499 pipe organ has is in the twenty largest pipe organs in the world, and the top five built all at once.
