Callcredit Limited is a consumer credit reference agency. Callcredit was created by Skipton Building Society in a joint venture with Dun & Bradstreet, and supplies information to lenders and other organisations to enable them to establish an individual's credit history, confirm application addresses and monitor significant events which may be indicators of credit risk.

Callcredit now works closely with US-based TransUnion, who reportedly own a 20% stake (asserted but unconfirmed) in the company after discussions during 2006. It also provides income to Fair Isaac through its consumer scoring activities.

Callcredit’s client base includes legal firms, banks, building societies, finance houses, mail order, telecoms and utility companies. These typically use Callcredit’s services to support applications for consumer credit, however shared financial data from consumers' credit accounts is used to underpin a variety of services including Fraud and Identification products, debtor tracing and over-indebtedness tracking.

Callcredit also provides credit reports directly to consumers, in competition with services such as CheckMyFile.com and Credit Expert from Experian. Callcredit's consumer website is currently provided by Checkmyfile.com, a website of Truro's Credit Reporting Agency.
