IMDb profile |
Call Of The Cuckoo is a Hal Roach two reel silent film from 1927. Its principle star is Jewish comedian Max Davidson, though the film is just as well known for cameos from other Roach stars at the time - renowned bit player Jimmy Finlayson (the inspiration for Homer Simpson's "Doh!" catchphrase), the oft underrated/ignored Charley Chase, and a pre-teaming Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
