Caliphs and Kings (Arabic: Khilafat wa Mulukiyyat) is a book written by Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi as a refutation of The caliphat of Mu'awiyah and Yazid (Arabic: Khilafat e Mu'awiyah wa Yazid), written by a Pakistani scholar, Mahmud Abbasi.

Among a wide array of issues, the book contains some pasages relevant to the Shi'a view of Muawiyah I. It also contains some passages relevant to the Sahabi Hujr ibn Adi.

Not all Sunnis scholars appreciate this book, and some have written books in refutation of both this book and the book this book is trying to refute.

Shi'a quote this work quite often, since it expreses views quite close to the Shi'a view in regards to Banu Umayyad clan.
