Calendar Girls is a British film of 2003, released by Touchstone Pictures, based on the true story of a group of Yorkshire women who produce a nude calendar to raise money for leukemia research, under the auspices of the Women's Institute. To date, Calendar Girls has raised over GBP£1million.
The film stars Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren and Julie Walters. It also features John Alderton, Annette Crosbie, Ciaran Hinds, Celia Imrie, Geraldine James and Penelope Wilton.
