Calculator Man & Hangar

Calculator Man & Hangar is a musical collaboration between Darrin Wiener and Jordan Snodgrass. The project began in 1997 as an Internet collaboration. With Wiener attending college at UCSB and Snodgrass attending college at UCSD, they leveraged the free hi-speed internet connections in their dorm rooms to send bits and pieces of songs back and forth multiple times until a song was completed. This project culminated with the release of their debut EP It's Andersen, Not Anderson, Bytch! on May 1st, 2000 on their own record label imputor?. It contains skitzophrenic IDM-style breakcore beats littered with various samples recorded by the duo on their portable recording devices.
