Calam

Calam is a character in Myst V: End of Ages, referred to in Yeesha's journals. According to the journals, Calam was a D'ni Writer who taught Yeesha most of her knowledge about the Art. He became one of her dearest friends before being murdered by an unknown assassin.

Based on an imager recording in the Great Shaft, Yeesha feels she is responsible for Calam's death. Her actual role in his demise is unknown, although certain drawings found in The Path of the Shell suggest that he probably died trying to protect Yeesha from some evil person, identity as yet unknown.
