Caixa Mágica

Caixa Mágica (CM) (meaning "Magic Box") is a Portuguese Linux distribution. It uses the RPM Package Manager and was created in 2000 by Paulo Trezentos and Daniel Neves in ADETTI, a Portuguese research centre.

Linux CM is being used extensively in education, public administration and enterprises in Portugal. It is well known for being used in 14.000 desktops in Portuguese schools.

There are two flavors: Desktop and Server. The current version is 11.
