Caivano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 14 km northeast of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 36,980 and an area of 27.1 km².[1]
The municipality of Caivano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Casolla and Pascarola.
Caivano borders the following municipalities: Acerra, Afragola, Cardito, Crispano, Marcianise, Orta di Atella.
