[edit] Character History

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Caitlin comes from an upper-class background, and has enjoyed it from the start. She grew up always having money and got anything she wanted, causing her to become spoiled and self centered. She spent most of her time shopping for the latest clothes, and spending time with her best friend, Tricia. All of this would soon change when her credit card reached their limit, which she didn't even know could happen. After consulting her father, she was left with the only option of getting a job. Caitlin, who was used to having others wait on her hand in foot, didn't want to do this at all. She soon, headstrong, hunted for a job and went on for a couple of job interviews. Unfortunately for her, she was turned down at every interview she took. Jen Masterson, who took pity in Caitlin, offered a job working at the Big Squeeze. Caitlin was forced to accept. After Tricia, Caitlin's best friend, saw her working she quickly ended their friendship, which was met with desolate weeping on Caitlin's part. Soon after though, Caitlin moved on to trying to become less spoiled and more hardworking. She has become great friends with Jonesy Garcia, Wyatt Williams, Jude Lizowski, and, more so, with Jen. Nikki Wong initally started being hostile towards her, but soon grew to accept her as part of the gang. Despite this, Caitlin appears to have yet to master the creation of (good) "lemon squishies", something she may never understand. Caitlin wears a pink tanktop, blue skirt and pink heels. She has a pink and magenta coloured cell phone.

[edit] Personality Details

Caitlin is a spoiled "valley girl" who loves to shop and keep in with trends. She's shown to be quite prone to weakness, and the slightest thing can make her cry. She also cares deeply about her friends, but can be extremely shallow. She also seems to fall in love quickly, and fall out fast to match. She appears to be quite gullible and a sucker for a pretty face. Caitlin is easily distracted, mostly by either guys or clothes. She gets embarassed easily and is very competitive.

[edit] Friends and Family

[edit] Family

Mr. and Mrs. Cooke

Caitlin's father is a rich lawyer. Caitlin's mother has yet to be mentioned. She does not have any siblings.

[edit] Friends

Caitlin and her best friends, Jen, Jude, Jonesy, Wyatt and Nikki.

Jen Masterson

Arguably, Caitlin's best friend. Jen is the sensible, logic friend, who always tries to bail Caitlin, among others, out of trouble. The two have bonded and confide and tell each other their most intimate secrets.

Jude Lizowski

Jude is one of Caitlin's best friends. The two share some common traits, such as both being blonde and wanting to keep in with trends.

Jonesy Garcia

Another one of Caitlin's best friends. Jonesy is chick crazy, and even once hit on Caitlin, but Jen was forced to shoo Jonesy away.

Wyatt Williams

Another one of Caitlin's friends. The two don't appear to have many similarities, but Caitlin tries to teach him about girls and love, while Wyatt, in turn, tires to help her be more logical. In the episode Snow Job Caitlin said that she and Wyatt would go to the dance together if their dates said no. This episode hinted that she might like him.

Nikki Wong

Nikki is by far the most different from Caitlin. Nikki was at first hostile towards Caitlin; disgusted by her cheerfulness, and girly-girl attitude. Soon, though, the two connected and grew to accept each other. Although, the two aren't above fighting and breaking up their friendship. Nikki once went as far as to say she wasn't her real friend.[1]

[edit] Enemies and Rivals

Tricia, as seen here, is Caitlin's former friend and current rival.
Tricia, as seen here, is Caitlin's former friend and current rival.
Tricia

Caitlin was once best friends with the devious Tricia. Caitlin and Tricia were friends for about a year [2] until Tricia ended their friendship after seeing Caitlin work. Since then the two have rivaled over the most trivial things.

Katie

In the episode entitled, Losing your Lemon, Caitlin finally quit her job at the Big Squeeze because she paid her father back the money she spent on his credit card. Having her credit card back, she gives the job to Katie. This is a disaster for the gang as Tricia and her friends take over the gang's table. Having a new worker at the Big Squeeze changed everything. Because she has to wear the infamous lemon hat, Caitlin has little trouble persuading Katie to take Jonesy's job at the information kiosk.

Nikki Wong

Although Nikki and Caitlin are good friends, the two have fought on more than one separate occasion. The two once split up and forced their friends to choose which one friend they preferred. The situation was soon resolved when the two "made up".

[edit] Love Life

Darth

Caitlin and Jen once fought over Darth in a desperate attempt at a Valentine's date.

Dustin

Caitlin and Dustin dated until he discovered her "terrible" secret and he decides to break up with her.

Hunter

A cute guy who works at Albatross & Finch. Ever since he stepped into the Khaki Barn, Nikki had a crush on him, so she asks Caitlin to set her up a date with Hunter. Instead, Caitlin sets herself up on a date with him. This causes a threatening relationship between the two the next day. The two reach a truce when they find out Hunter secretly has several girlfriends at the same time, making him what they call, a jerk.

John

Another member of the DawgToy Band. Caitlin is a really big fan of John and is seen hugging his picture on the poster.

Jonesy Garcia

Jonesy is one of Caitlin's best friends. Jonesy once commented saying she was hot and tried to hit on her.

Kyle Donaldson

Kyle aka Dirty Donaldson. One of the guys that went on a date with Caitlin. He likes sushi which is why he decided the place for their date was the Terrific Happy Sushi. However, when they both went on the indoor roller-coaster, Caitlin ended up puking all over the place which is the reason why Kyle decided to break up with her.

Tad

In the episode entitled, "Wanting to Ex-sale", Jen and Caitlin go to the mall early to line up for the big sale. Being at the end of the line isn't so bad as they met two cute guys, Tad and Owen. As they wait for the line to move, Jen starts hanging out with Owen and Caitlin falls in love with Tad. Caitlin's relationship with Tad starts and ends while they are in line as Tad breaks up with Caitlin in the end.

Talon

One of Caitlin's ex-boyfriends. Talon was a cute guy to Caitlin which is why she was so clumsy towards him. Caitlin had given him a black eye, a broken arm, and even slammed the car door into his 'kiwis'. Caitlin had broken up with him because he was lousy kisser. He also appears in the 6teen special, Dude of the Living Dead where he was turned into a zombie, having bitten by a zombie kid. In the episode, Caitlin is seen carrying Talon's cut-off arm with her sadly.

Wade

One of Caitlin's former boyfriends. Caitlin was really obsessed with Wade and she always told a never ending story about him to the gang. Her story of Wade got on Nikki's nerves which caused her to yell at Caitlin. Because of Wade, their relation was threatened and forced the gang the choose between the two. But Jude's speech at Fish's funeral got them back together. Caitlin broke up with Wade later on and said that he wasn't 'the one' because he smelled.

Zane

Zane is a guy Caitlin once had a crush on. He didn't know Caitlin existed until she slammed her locker door into his face. He asked her out even if she humiliated herself in front of him by accidentally going into the men's washroom. Caitlin had all the plans to date Zane but Tricia gave Catilin a warning to stay away from him because she used to date him. Tricia was Zane's girlfriend in junior high but was dumped because she got braces. Caitlin decided to ignore Tricia and go on with the date. Caitlin ignorance caused her to be black listed from every store in the mall and was known as the "boy-friend stealer". Zane broke up with Caitlin seeing that his dating with her only caused a war between Caitlin and Tricia.

[edit] Trivia

  • In spite of being Canadian, Caitlin speaks with a slight Califonia "valley girl" accent or vocabulary.
  • Caitlin has never lasted in a relationship for more than an episode. The only exception is Talon, who was her boyfriend in Boo Dude!, Going Underground and the one-hour special Dude of the Living Dead. (However this is a dream of Jude's and may not count)
  • She and Tricia were the first (significant) characters to appear on the show.
Spoilers end here.
