Cairnbaan

Cairnbaan is a village situated on the banks of the Crinan Canal, in Argyll, Scotland. The name (Scottish Gaelic)literally means white hill. On the hill itself, there are cup and ring marks dating back to the Iron Age.

The village has a hotel that was built in the 18th Century.

Featured in the tv series The Tales of Para Handy.
