Cahill Stadium

The Cahill Stadium is a 1,759-seat multi-purpose arena in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada. It was built in 1952. It is home to the Summerside Western Capitals ice hockey team. The facility has also hosted various NHL training camps: Philadelphia Flyers (1992), Florida Panthers (1996) and Columbus Blue Jackets (2002). The arena also hosted the Royal Bank Cup in 1997. It closed for good on March 10, 2007, and will soon be demolished. It was replaced by the Summerside Wellness Centre.
