Caffè Lena

Located in Saratoga Springs, NY, Caffè Lena is the oldest continually running coffee house in the United States. Founded in 1960 by Lena Spencer, it features acoustic concerts and cultural events showcasing folk music, traditional music, and singer-songwriters of a wide range. It has featured performers such as Bob Dylan, Utah Phillips, Arlo Guthrie, Dave Van Ronk, Mike Grutka,Nancy Griffith, Ani Difranco, Mississippi John Hurt, Emmylou Harris, and many others. It was at Caffè Lena where Don McLean performed the song American Pie for the first time.
