Caerleon F.C. is an association football club based in the ancient Roman village of Caerleon on the northern outskirts of the city of Newport. They have resided in the Welsh Football League First Division for numerous seasons, but have, in recent years, had to battle hard to keep their place in the upper echelons of Welsh football.
The Club Crest represents either the Roman legionary fortress for which Caerleon is renown or the Norman castle, of which little remains in Caerleon.
