Cadoxton, Neath Port Talbot

Cadoxton is a village in Neath Port Talbot county borough, south Wales.
Cadoxton is also an electoral ward of Neath Port Talbot county borough. The ward consists of some or all of the following areas: Cadoxton, Cilfrew.
The village takes its name from the church that is dedicated to St. Catwg (Cadoc's-town) and has been known in the past as Cadoxton-juxta-Neath in order to differentiate it from Cadoxton, Vale of Glamorgan, also known as Cadoxton-juxta-Barry.
The Welsh name for the village is Llangatwg, which means the church or parish of St Catwg.
