From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The grade of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel (abbreviated C/Lt Col) is a Phase IV Cadet Officer grade that a cadet of the Civil Air Patrol may attain. It also is the fourth milestone of five in the cadet program. The grade is synonymous with the General Ira C. Eaker Award.
In order for a cadet to earn this award, the cadet must have written an essay, and given a speech, as well as take the PT test, participate actively, and have participated in at least half of all moral leaderships available since their last promotion.
The award is supposed to be presented to the cadet by a high ranking official, such as a Region Commander, or government official.
