Cadenabbia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cadenabbia is a small town of Lombardy, Italy, in the province of Como, about 15 miles North North East by steamer from the town of Como. It is situated on the west shore of the lake of Como, and owing to the great beauty of the scenery and of the vegetation, and its sheltered situation.
It is a favorite spring and autumn resort. It also serves as a health resort and a holiday place for travellers.
The Como ferry leaves from Cadenabbia at least every 30 minutes, making it a perfect location for a holiday in on the Lake. There are several hotels right near the ferry landing, including the Hotel Riviera Ristorante, a wonderful, family-run hotel with gorgeous views of Bellagio.
The ferry ride to Bellagio is only 10 minutes- and staying in Cadenabbia makes for a more relaxing, less touristy trip, with the convenience of Bellagio and Menaggio just 10 minutes away.
The fabulous Bella Isole is in Cadenabbia as well.
