Cadbury Adams

Cadbury Adams, a subsidiary of Cadbury-Schweppes, is a candy, gum, breath mint and cough drop company headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. The company was formed after the purchase of Adams Gum in 2002/2003 by Cadbury-Schweppes for a sum of $4.2 billion (USD).

Cadbury Schweppes plc is one of the world’s major confectionery companys and the leading beverage company. They are the only company that produces chewing gum, sweets and chocolate. They bought the Adams brands from Pfizer for $4.2 billion in 2003. They are not just centred in the U.S. and Australia; they also sell and advertise in Canada. Their headquarters in Canada is in Toronto, Ontario. The company dates back over 200 years, and employs about 55,000 workers. There were three main creators: John Cadbury, Jean Jacob Schweppe and Thomas Adams.
