From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The CA-782nd Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps was established in the William S. Hart High School District in Southern California in 1978. It has since grown to a corps of about 150 cadets under Capt. Edward A. Colley, its Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI), who became SASI of the program in 1994, the same year that Valencia High School, in Valencia, California, at which the cadets currently meet, was opened. The unit is dedicated to not only training cadets in physical fitness, aerospace science, and leadership, but also to community service, and has assisted the community in many ways throughout its existence.
