Ca$hville Records (Also called G-Unit South), is a record label started by rapper Young Buck, founded in 2006. Young Buck is the President and 50 Cent acts as Vice President. In late 2006, Young Buck announced that the first signing of Ca$hville Records would be a group called 615 (Nashville, Tennessee's area code) that will consist of Young Buck, Lil Murda, Hi-C, & D-Tay. Later, Young Buck announced the signing of independent West Coast legend C-Bo who is best known for his work with The Regime, Tupac Shakur and Brotha Lynch Hung. At NBA All Star Weekend 2007, Young Buck announced the most recent signing to his label, the West Coast group the Outlawz who were the close friends of Tupac Shakur and were originally intended to sign under Shakur's label, Makavelli Records, before he died. C-Bo's first album under Ca$hville Records is expected in 2007 along with 615's, but it is unknown at this time when The Outlawz debut Ca$hville Records album will be released. This record company is not to be confused with G-Unit South. Young buck has said recently that G-Unit South is considered more like a movement that a record company. Also he said he had to name his record label Ca$hville Records and not G-Unit South because he said he didn't think Jimmy Iovine would appreciate the G-Unit brand being used if Young Buck was to get Ca$hville Record Distributed from another label.[1]
