CTN is the Campus Television Network of University College Dublin (UCD). It is the first Irish student run television station and was formed by Pamela Newenham in 2005 when she returned to ucd after spending a year in an American University where she had seen a student television station in action. CTN began broadcasting on campus in november 2006 and has been flagged as the new training ground for potential TV presenters. Its current shows include an entertainments show 'Ent This!', 'Hotshot' the dating show with a twist and the two fashion shows 'Slick' and 'New Look'.
All programmes are shown between 12 and 2 on campus in the forum bar and the student bar. They can also be downloaded as podcasts or seen on the website:
